First Generation

William Ring [1910] was born about 1770 in Virginia and died in November 1815 in Missouri, about age 45. William married Sieges Parish.

Children from this marriage were:

  1. Charlotte Ring was born on 4 February 1809 in Missouri died on 11 April 1890 in Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas, at age 81, and was buried in Allen Cemetery, Johnson County, Arkansas. Charlotte married George William McCord on 18 August 1828 in Madison County, Missouri.
  2. Joseph Parish Ring was born on 9 November 1811 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri died on 16 February 1861 in Fannin County, Texas, at age 49, and was buried in Grove Hill, Fannin County, Texas. Joseph married Elizabeth Caroline Gilliam on 5 December 1838 in Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas.
  3. Sarah Ring was born on 7 April 1812 in Missouri and died on 2 February 1867 in Hartman, Johnson County, Arkansas, at age 54.Sarah married Peter Allen in 1837 in Johnson County, Arkansas.
  4. William Ring was born on an unknown date.
Research Note: Though there is little doubt that Charlotte, Joseph, Sarah and William are siblings, the fact that William and Sieges are their parents is conjecture. More research is required to prove this connection.
