7. Zed Porter Ritchie [4213] was born 4 September 1896 in Dutton, Madison County, Arkansas, and died 10 October 1980 in Veteran's Hospital, Boise, Ada County, Idaho. He married Alice Leah Day on 14 October 1917 in Friley, Johnson County, Arkansas. She was born 14 August 1901 in St. Paul, Arkansas and died in Kuna, Ada County, Idaho. Zed was inducted into the U.S. Army from Johnson County, Arkansas on September 15, 1918 during World War I. After the war he took up farming.
