Children of Cornelius Acord and Mary Evans

2. Josiah S. 'Joe' Acord [1673] was born 6 December 1888 in Friley, Johnson County, Arkansas, and died 6 April 1975 in North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. He married Lottie Robinson on 9 October 1910. She was born 26 November 1894 in Rose Creek, Polk County, Arkansas; and died 10 January 1987 in Morrilton, Conway County, Arkansas. Joe was a farmer. In 1930 he farmed cotton in Yell County, Arkansas. Joe and Lottie are both buried in Needmore Cemetery, Casa, Perry County, Arkansas.

Children of Joe Acord and Lottie Robinson are:

  1. + Dewey Bee Acord, born 24 August 1911, Perry County, Arkansas; died 4 October 1937; married Ruth Ennis; born about 1914, Arkansas.
  2. Daniel Franklin Acord, born 5 November 1914; died June 1983; married 1) Jean [last name unknown], 2) Bernice [last name unknown]; born 9 February 1904; died 21 January 1997, Texas. Had no children. He attended two years of high school. Daniel enlisted in the US Army during World War II on 20 Jun3 1942.
  3. + Robert Haynes Acord, married Helen Grace Nelson.
  4. Mary Louise Acord, married 1) Doyle Brisby ; married 2) Robert J, Schmidt.
  5. Geraldine Acord; married Joseph Crawford.
  6. Willie Jo Acord; married Barnard Jones.
  7. Martha Delois Virgina Acord; married Edward Eddy.
  8. Rebekah Frances Sue Acord; married William Kerr.
  9. Bobbie Jean Acord; married Carl Moore.
