3. William C. Hill [2811] was born 1714 in North Carolina, and died 1803 in Halifax County, North Carolina. He married Charity Lewis.

Children of William Hill and Charity Lewis are:

1. James Hill, born 1777.
2. Henry Hill, born 1778.
3. Martha Hill, born 1779.

5. Sion Hill [2815] was born 1716 or 1718 in Halifax County, North Carolina, and died 29 March 1780 and 15 September 1783 in Wake County, North Carolina. He married Sarah [last name unknown but may have been McDonald]. She was born about 1720.

Children of Sion and Sarah Hill are:

1. Shadrack Hill, born about 1740. He married Susanna [last name unknown]. Lived in Johnston County, North Carolina.
2. Febe Hill, born about 1745 in North Carolina. She married [first name unknown] Walls.
3. Sion Hill, born about 1745; died before 1783.
4. Green Hill, born 1752 in Sussex County, Virginia; died 1800 in Bertie County, Virginia.
5. Mary Hill, born about 1755. She married [first name unknown] Wall.
6. William Hill, born 1765 in Wake County, North Carolina; died 1840 in Hickman County, Tennessee.
7. Green Hill, born 1771 in Wake County, North Carolina; died 1832 in Madison County, Tennessee.
8. + Thomas Hill, born about 1774 in Wake County, North Carolina; died between 1860 and 1869. He married (1) Sybia 'Sibby' Cope 30 March 1796. She was born about 1772 in North Carolina and died 1863 in Overton County, Tennessee. They lived in Overton County, Tennessee.

Research Note. It is unlikely that Sion would have two sons name Green both living at the same time. This researcher suspects that 6. William, 7. Green and 8. Thomas are not children of Sion and Sarah. In Sion's will dated 29 March 1780 he makes no mention of young sons. It appears that the Green Hill born about 1771 is the grandson of Sion and Sarah and not their son.

6. Abner Hill [858] was born 1723 in Edgecomb County, North Carolina. He married Sarah Mathis. Abner received a large land grant along Turkey Creek in Edgecomb County, North Carolina in August 1762.

Child of Abner Hill and Sarah Mathis is:

1. Frances Hill. She married Joseph Minter.

7. Thomas Hill [2019] was born 1725 in North Carolina, and died August 1789 in Scotland Neck, Halifax County, North Carolina. He married Sarah [last name unknown] 1745 in North Carolina. Thomas filed his last will and testament on 27 Nov 1787. It was proved in the August Court 1789. Thomas was a large land owner and owned as many as 80 slaves.

1. Thomas Hill. He married Elizabeth Gardner.
2. Robert Hill.
3. Elizabeth Hill. She married [first name unknown] Jones.
4. Mary Hill. She married [first name unknown] Jones.
5. Anna Hill.
6. Fanna Hill. She married [first name unknown] Macmeal.
7. Salley Hill.
8. Richard Hill.
9. Benjamin Hill, born 1761 in Halifax County, North Carolina; died 1850 in Green County, Alabama. He married Mary Wooten 1778 in Halifax County, North Carolina.

8. Tabitha Hill [2020] was born 1727. She married David Chapman. They had eight children.

1. John Chapman.
