Children of Sion W. Hill and Elizabeth Smith

1. Robert Hill [840] was born between 1678 and 1683 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, and died 1766 in Halifax County, North Carolina. He married Tabitha Browne Green about 1705 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, daughter of Abner Green. She was born 1690, and died April 1765 in Halifax County, North Carolina. In 1724 was granted 145 acres on the south side of Fountain Creek in Isle of Wight County. He was living on that land when he on 23 January 1724 he deeded it to Arthur Jordon. Tabitha relinquished ownership. This deed was witnessed by Thomas Alleman, Sr. and Jr. In 1725 Robert was deeded 233 acres of land in Isle of Wright County. On 22 May 1725 he was  granted an additional 160 acres on the south side of Fountain Creek, Northampton County, Virginia. He then acquired 200 acres on the south side of Blue Marsh in Edgecomb County, North Carolina in 1738. In 1740 he conveyed 75 acres of this land with the deed witnessed by Abner Green and Thomas Hill. He received several additional land grants in Edgecomb County. His last will and testament was filed 18 Jun 1762 and proved in 1766 in Halifax County, North Carolina. This will was probated 27 January  1779.

Children of Robert Hill and Tabitha Green are:

1. Milbey Hill. She married Matthew Gibbs.
2. Ann Hill, born 1705 in North Carolina. She married John Steed; born about 1710 in Brunswick County, Virginia. They had nine children.
3. William C. Hill, born 1714 in North Carolina; died 1803 in Halifax County, North Carolina.
4. Green Hill, born 1715 in Virginia; died 1769 in North Carolina. He married Lethita Chapman; born about 1720.
5. Sion Hill, born 1718 in Halifax County, North Carolina; died 29 March 1780 in Wake County, North Carolina.
6. Abner Hill, born 1723 in Edgecomb County, North Carolina.
7. Thomas Hill, born 1725 in North Carolina; died August 1789 in Scotland Neck, Halifax County, North Carolina.
8. Tabitha Hill, born 1727.
9. Lewraina Hill, born 1727. She married [first name unknown] Arrington.
10. Agnes Hill, born 1730 in North Carolina; died 14 August 1797 in Chatham County, North Carolina. She married Charles Arrington 1747 in Edgecomb County, North Carolina. They had seven children.
11. Mary Hill, born about 1735. She married [first name unknown] Bryant.

2. Sion Hill [1802] was born 1682 in Surry County, Virginia or Halifax County, North Carolina, and died after 1762 in Edgecomb County, North Carolina. He married (1) Elizabeth Marriott about 1707, daughter of Alcie and Marthias Marriott. She was born about 1687 in Surry County, Virginia, and died 1710 in Virginia. He married (2) Hannah Greene after 1710. She was born about 1685.

1. Abner Hill, born about 1718.
2. William Hill, born 1710 in Caroline County, Virginia.

3. Richard Hill [2793] was born 1684 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, and died 1725 in Surry County, Virginia. He married Hannah Briggs about 1713 in Surry County, Virginia, daughter of Henry Briggs and Elizabeth Lucas. She was born about 1692 in Surry County, Virginia, and died after 19 July 1727 in Surry County, Virginia.

Children of Richard Hill and Hannah Briggs are:

1. Green Hill, born 20 November 1714 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia; died 1769 in Northampton County, North Carolina.
2. Mary Hill, born 1716 in Surry County, Virginia.
3. John Hill, born about 1718 in Surrey County, Virginia; died before 21 February 1765 in Sussex County, Virginia.
4. Richard Hill, born 1720 in Surry County, Virginia; died 09 July 1775 in Surry County, Virginia.
