1972 in Fountain Hill, Ashley County, Arkansas. He married (1)
JEANIE HAYNIE on 8
February 1919 in Kingsland, Cleveland County, Arkansas, daughter of MILTON
'TUCK' HAYNIE and REBBECCA 'BECKIE' HAYNIE. She was born June 1900 in Rison, Cleveland County, Arkansas, and died
at home on the Ford Plantation in Altheimer, Jefferson County, Arkansas of
Bright's Disease (officially dropsy and heart trouble) on 10 January 1943. Jeanie
died shortly after the birth of her tenth child. After the birth of her ninth
child she was warned that she might not survive another childbirth. She is
buried in Sherrill Cemetery, Jefferson County, Arkansas.
After Jeanie's death William remarried (2) RUTH GRAHAM after 1943 in Edenberg, Arkansas, daughter of JAMES GRAHAM and MARY PEARSON. She was born 26 Dec 1905, and died Apr 1987 in Fountain Hill, Ashley County, Arkansas. William is buried in Davis Cemetery, Grant County, Arkansas. They lived in Foutain Hill, Ashley County, Arkansas.
