5. URIAH WILSON GARNER [835] was born 24 February 1872 in Arkansas, and died 24 November 1937 in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas. He married (1) NANCY BELLE WATSON on 12 February 1893, daughter of JACOB WATSON and SUSAN ROGERS. She was born 22 October 1875 in Kingsland, Cleveland County, Arkansas, and died 30 January 1928. Uriah and Nancy lived their lives in Grant and Jefferson Counties, Arkansas. Nancy died 30 January 1928 in Grant County and is buried in Davis Cemetery. After Nancy's death Uriah married (2) Mrs. BEATRICE WALKER on 12 November 1919 of Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas. He married 2) Mrs. LAURA WALKER in 1933.

Research Notes: There is a persistent family story among relatives living in 2000 that Uriah was not of the Garner bloodline. These relatives agree that Uriah's surname was Moore and he was raised by Abner and Angeline Garner, he subsequently adopted the Garner name, and that he was never legally adopted. Another branch of the family agrees that there was an adoption but insists that it was Abner, not Uriah. No record to support either supposition has yet been found.

6. ANDREW FRANKLIN 'ANDY' GARNER [787] was born 24 February 1874 in Arkansas, and died 12 December 1930 in Grant County, Arkansas. He married (1) REBECCA D. ROBERTS, daughter of UNKNOWN and MARTHA ROBERTS. She was born 20 September 1881 in Arkansas, and died 13 October 1900 in Grant County, Arkansas. He married (2) MATTIE SAMANTHA WATSON. She was born 19 January 1891, and died 6 June 1915. He married (3) ROSE BESSIE GOSSIEN. She was born about 1898 in Arkansas and died 14 January 1987. They are both buried in Davis Cemetery, Grant County, Arkansas.
