1. Clarissa 'Clara' Acord [11008] was born 1 December 1822 in Roane County, Tennessee and died 3 September 1885 in Jericho Springs, Cedar County, Missouri. She married Phillip Martin, son of James Martin and Elizabeth Rebecca Lentsinger, on 26 August 1841 in Tennessee.  He was born in 1800 and died 14 February 1853 in Cedar County, Missouri. Phillip was a farmer. Clarissa and Phillip are buried in Greenfield Cemetery, Cedar County, Missouri.

  2. + Martha Jane Martin, born 22 November 1844, Cedar County, Missouri; died 13 September 1910, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri; married James Faulkner, 6 June 1844, Dade County, Missouri.

2. George W. Acord [1643] was born 1826 in Roane County, Tennessee, and died after 1890. George was a farmer. He married Elizabeth C. 'Betsy' [last name unknown] who was born about 1829 in Roane County, Tennessee; died after 1870. George served for one year in the Company A of the Missouri State Militia as a Private he enlisted on 31 May 1863 and was discharged in May 1864 at the end of the war.

4. Timothy Acord [1646] was born 1832 in Roane County, Tennessee. In 1870 he was a farm laborer on his mother's farm. He married Virginia Brown on 30 July 1882 in Cedar County, Missouri.

5. William Acord [1648] was born 1834 in Roane County, Tennessee. In 1870 he was a farm laborer living on the Woodford farm in Cedar County, Missouri.

7.   Samuel Acord [1649] was born 31 December 1838 in South Carolina, and died 31 March 1922 in Dade County. Missouri. Samuel was a farmer. He married Susan Bethina Underwood, daughter of John H and May Underwood, on 29 August 1858. She was born 22 July 1842 in Dade County, Missouri and died 24 March 1906 in Dade County, Missouri. Samuel served in Company G of the 14th Missouri State Militia Cavalry Regiment during the Civil War; entering as a First Sergeant on 13 April 1862 in Springfield, Missouri. The 14th was disbanded on 3 March 1863 the company became Company L, 8th Missouri State Militia Cavalry Regiment. This unit saw action at the Battle of Bayou Fourch in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas on 10 September 1863. On 1 January 1864 Samuel was promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant. He mustered out of the service on 12 April 1865. After Susan's death Samuel lived with his son Theodore in Dade County, Missouri in 1910. In 1920 he lived with his daughter Edith Achord and her husband Cyrus Lemaster in Arcola, Dade County, Missouri Samuel is buried in Omar Cemetery, Cedar County, Missouri. Susan is also buried in Cedar County.
