William Spencer 'Billy' Boen [692]
was born 13 November 1844, and died 17 May 1938 in Newton County, Arkansas. He
married Nancy Emmeline Cowan about 1865, daughter of Riley Cowan and
Phoebe Acree.
She was born 19 May 1847 in Tennessee, and died 3 November 1933 in Clarksville, Johnson County,
Arkansas. William was a railroad builder and merchant. In 1931 they lived
in Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas. In 1938 they lived in Tulsa, Tulsa
County, Oklahoma. In 1910 William and Nancy lived with their daughter Dalena and
her husband Thomas R. Lewis in Madison County, Arkansas. They remained with
Dalena the rest of their lives, moving back to Clarksville by 1930. William and Nancy are both buried in Case Cemetery, Newton
County, Arkansas.

1875, daughter of William Russell and Lucinda Boen. She was born 1858 in
Arkansas, and died 1938 in Mounds, Creek County, Oklahoma. Christopher and Polly
are buried in Duck Creek Cemetery, near Mounds, Creek County, Oklahoma.

Permelia Mooney

was born about 1869 in Arkansas, and died 8 September 1960 in Alma, Crawford
County, Arkansas. She married Dr. Albert L. Boen, son of Hiram Boen and
Mary Cowan, about 1886. He was born 9 February 1868 in Arkansas and died 25 Jul
1958. Albert was a medical doctor. In 1900 his mother lived with them in Newton
County, Arkansas and remained with them for the rest of her life. Permelia died
at the home of her daughter Belle in Alma, Arkansas. Both are buried in Oakland Cemetery, Johnson County, Arkansas.
Children of Permelia Mooney and Albert Boen are:
- Belle Boen, was born about 1889 in Arkansas. She married Jim E. Thicksten 02 May
1912 in Pettigrew, Johnson County, Arkansas. In 1912 they went to
Pennsylvania where he got a job. In 1960 they lived in Alma, Crawford
County, Arkansas.
- Ona Boen. She married [first name unknown] Coger. In 1960 they lived in
Booneville, Logan County, Arkansas.
