Otto A. Kendall
[6625] was born
12 August 1892 in Arkansas, and died 20 December 1950 in Johnson County, Arkansas. In
1910 he was a boarder in the Clarksville home of Minnie Porter. He
married
Bonnie Castleberry on 1 June 1916 in the Castleberry Hotel, Hartman,
Johnson County, Arkansas. She is the daughter of James Castleberry and
Eliza Taylor and was born 1 August 1892, and died 28 May 1974. Otto was a farmer
and Rural Mail
Carrier. In 1930 they lived with Bonnie's mother in Hartman. They lived most of their
lives in Hartman. The following appeared in the Clarksville Democrat,
Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas, 1 June 1916...
Castleberry-Kendall
On last Friday night about 9 o'clock Miss Bonnie Castleberry
was married to Otto A. Kendall, the Rev. O. C. Floyd officiating. The wedding
took place at the home of the Bride for which occasion the parlor room of the
hotel was handsomely decorated with white lilies ad ferns Only a small number
of near relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony. Miss Parlee Flake of
Coal Hill rendering excellent numbers on the piano.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Eliza Castleberry, proprietress of the
hotel. Miss bonnie is a splendidly accomplished young lady with scores of
friends.
Mr. Kendall is a popular young gentleman of this city holding a position as
Rural mail carrier.
The young couple left on the early morning train for Little Rock and Hot
Springs, returning Monday evening and are now at home to their many friends at
the Castleberry home. We join in extending congratulations to the happy
couple.

Dane A. Kendall
[6626] was born 4 September 1894 in Arkansas,
and died 15 September 1969. He married Ruby E. Bean, daughter of John
Bean and Martha Patterson. She was born about 1907 in Johnson County, Arkansas,
and died 16 April 2001 in Countryside Manor Nursing Home, Johnson County,
Arkansas. Dane was a clerk in the Post Office in 1930. They lived their entire
lives in Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas. Dane and Ruby are buried in
Oakland Memorial Cemetery, in Clarksville.
