He married Nancy Elizabeth Hurley on 10 January 1903 in Cleveland County, Arkansas. She was born 30 June 1886 in Arkansas, and died 19 March 1970. John and Nancy are buried in Cross Roads Cemetery, Cleveland County, Arkansas.

  1. Allie Haynie, born about 1903 in Arkansas. She married [first name unknown] Curry. They lived in Kingsland, Cleveland County, Arkansas.

  7. J. W. Haynie, born about 1924 in near Kingsland, Cleveland County, Arkansas; died 6 April 1987 in Pasadena, Harris County, Texas. He married Geneva Henry; b. about 1923, Houston, Harris County, Texas, d. 1 April 1980, Pasadena, Harris County, Texas. She is buried in South Memorial Park, Pasadena, Harris County, Texas.
  8. Aubert R. Haynie, born about 1926; died 21 June 1986 in Chittenango, Madison County, New York.

He was born 1 January 1897 in Arkansas, and died 17 November 1972 in Fountain Hill, Ashley County, Arkansas. Jeanie is buried in Sherrill Cemetery, Sherrill, Jefferson County, Arkansas.
