in action when his tank was hit by a mortar shell. Ferrell is buried 16 miles
northwest of

County, Arkansas, and died 8 March 1957 in Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas.
Ernest was a school teacher. He began teaching in 1906 and retired in 1951. They
lived
in Spring Hill before moving to Clarksville about 1917. Ollie and Ernest
are buried in Oakland Cemetery, Johnson County, Arkansas.

Col. Ernest Lee McDaniel, born 23 Sep 1918 in
Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas; died 30 Mar 1967 in VA Hospital,

during WWII in the Aleutian Islands and European Theater. In 1952 entered the
Arkansas National Guard where he served until his death. Ernest is buried in
