4. Green Hill [2028] was born 1752 in Sussex County, Virginia, and died 1800 in Bertie County, Virginia. He married Mary Booth 1773 in Sussex County, Virginia. .

Children of Green Hill and Mary Booth are:

Martha Hill.
Henry Hill.
William Hill.

6. William Hill [2869] was born 1765 in Wake County, North Carolina, and died 1840 in Hickman County, Tennessee. He married Elizabeth Cope on 12 November 1789 in Wake County, North Carolina, daughter of Thomas Cope. She was born 1769 in Wake County, North Carolina, and died before 1830 in Perry County, Tennessee.

Children of William Hill and Elizabeth Cope are:

Mark Hill, born 1790 in Wake County, North Carolina; died 1878 in Yale, Johnson County, Arkansas.
Son Hill, born 1804 in Perry County, Tennessee.
Daughter Hill, born 1804.
+William S. Hill, born about 1805, Tennessee, married Ann 'Anna' Parris, born about 1806 in Tennessee.

Research Notes. There is some indications that this William Hill did not marry this Elizabeth Cope. An Elizabeth Cope, born about born about 1766 in North Carolina had a son named William S. Hill who married Ann Parris. They were in Overton County, Tennessee in 1850 and Fentress County, Tennessee in 1860. This Elizabeth indicated she was born in North Carolina in the 1850 census and Virginia in the 1860 census. While it seems clear that Elizabeth Cope, daughter of Thomas Cope, married a William Hill and had a son named William S. Hill; it is not clear that Mark Hill is a son of this marriage.

7. Green Hill [2871] was born 1771 in Wake County, North Carolina, and died 1832 in Madison County, Tennessee. He married Vatida Matilda Turner on 25 February 1793. She was born 1776 in Wake County, North Carolina, and died 1839 in Madison County, Tennessee. Green's last will and testament was filed

Mary Ann Hill married [first name unknown] Jenkins.
Sarah Hill married Jethro B. Ford.

8. Thomas Hill [20547] was born about 1774 in Wake County, North Carolina, and died between 1860 and 1869. He married Sybia Cope 30 March 1796, daughter of Thomas Q. Cope. She was born about 1772 in North Carolina, and died 1863. They moved, along with Sybia's father to Overton County, Tennessee before 1809. Both are buried in the Old Hill Cemetery, Overton County, Tennessee.

Children of Thomas Hill and Sybia Cope are:

Sarah Hill, born about 1810, Tennessee.
Nancy Hill, born between 1811 and 1821 in Tennessee; died Mar 1864. Burial: Old Hill Cemetery, Overton County, Tennessee
Thomas H. Hill, born 8 or 20 Dec 1820; died 4 Aug 1905. He married Sally Milton; born 14 Aug 1844; died 25 Dec 1911.
