Children of John Gilliam and Amy Fountayne

1. John Gilliam [23058] was born 1614 in Gravesend, England, and died June 1673 in Charles City County, Virginia or Prince George County, Virginia. It appears that John and his brother Thomas emigrated to Virginia from Gravesend, England on the ship 'George' in 1635 at the age of 21. He married Margaret Henshaw, daughter of Thomas Henshaw and Katherine Gower, before 1650. She was born about 1614 possibly in Surrey, England, and died 1688 in Virginia.

Charles Gilliam, born about 1650 in Bristol Parish, Virginia; died Unknown.
Elizabeth Gilliam, born about 1655 in Virginia; died 15 Feb 1714/15 in Surry County, Virginia.
Hinchea Gilliam, born about 1660 in Bristol Parish, Virginia; died Bef. 20 Nov 1734 in Surry County, Virginia.
