Children of Joseph Tyler and Ann McCallester

3. Daniel Harrington Tyler [2147] was born about 1834 in Tennessee, He married (1) Mary Ann Lovin about 1860 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was born between 1835 and 1842 in Tennessee. On 15 February 1862, at the age of 28, Daniel enlisted as a Private in the Confederate Army along with his brothers Thomas and Joseph at Bellfonte, Arkansas. He enlisted in Company D, 27th Arkansas Infantry (Shaler's) Regiment. Daniel was part of the Confederate Army commended by General E. K. Smith at New Orleans when it surrendered on 26 May 1865 to Major General Canby of the U. S. Army. He was a prisoner of war and was paroled at Shreveport, Louisiana on 8 June 1865. Mary died about 1894.

  2. Joseph Tyler, b. about 1865, Van Buren, Arkansas; d. Bet. 1870 - 1880, Van Buren, Arkansas.

  3. Barbara Jean Tyler, born 1 April 1869 or July 1867, Van Buren, Sebastian County, Arkansas; died. 20 February 1958, Pearson, Cleburne County, Arkansas; married John Frank Jackson, 10 October 1889, Cleburne County, Arkansas; born 2 June 1860, Van Buren, Sebastian County, Arkansas; died 11 March 1952, Pearson, Cleburne, Arkansas.

  4. John Willard Tyler, born about 1873, Van Buren, Arkansas; married (1) Emily Fletcher; born about 1889, Missouri; m. (2) Martha Dove Holliman, 1 January 1893, Cleburne, Arkansas; born January 1878, Arkansas.

  5. David W. Tyler, born November 1877, Van Buren, Sebastian County, Arkansas; died 4 May 1945, Pulaski County, Arkansas; married Leona Burilson, 10 July 1900, Cleburne County, Arkansas; born 27 December 1875, Arkansas.

  6. Melia Ann Tyler, bORN about 1878, Van Buren, Arkansas.

  7. Franklin L. 'Frank' Tyler, born about 1886, Van Buren, Arkansas; died 25 Nov 1931, Independence, Arkansas; married (1) Mary [last name unknown], (2) Ollie Fletcher, (3) Effie Louise Richey, (4) Lelitta Stone.

After Mary's death Daniel married (2) his first cousin once removed  Frances Elizabeth Key on 15 September 1889 in Cleburne County, Arkansas. She was born March 1855 in Tennessee, the daughter of  John G. Key and Martha Caroline Smith. Frances had been previously married to (1) Murdock Chisolm Pankey on 25 September 1879 in Van Buren, Sebastian County, Arkansas.  He was born about 1815 in Richmond, North Carolina. She and Murdock had one son, Martin Luther Pankey. Murdock died before 1889. Daniel died about 1893 in Cleburne County, Arkansas. Francis remarried to (3) J.  A. Johnston on 8 April 1894 in Cleburne County, Arkansas. She left Mr. Johnson, apparently he still had a wife in Missouri. She then (4) Andrew A. Baugher on 29 Sep 1907 in Faulkner County, Arkansas. He died after 1920. She died died 1920 in Faulkner County, Arkansas and is buried in Old Texas Cemetery, just north of Guy, Faulkner, Arkansas.

  2. Sarah Elizabeth Tyler, born May 1893, Cleburne County, Arkansas; died 29 January 1929, Faulkner County, Arkansas; married Joseph Allen Everette between 1918 and 1920, Vilonia, Faulkner County, Arkansas; born 14 September 1893; died 23 April 1971, Altheimer, Jefferson County, Arkansas.

  3. Gemes Tyler, born May 1893, Cleburne, Arkansas; died about 1895, Cleburne, Arkansas.

Child of Francis Key and Murdock Pankey is:

  1. Martin Luther Pankey, born August 1882, Van Buren, Sebastian County, Arkansas; died 15 September 1938, Megargel, Archer County, Texas. He married Lucy Oldham 14 August 1902 in Cleburne County, Arkansas. She was born 1881 in Arkansas. They had five children all born in Faulkner County, Arkansas.

4. THOMAS R. TYLER [2174] was born about 1837 in Tennessee. He married MATILDA [last name unknown]. She was born about 1835 in Tennessee. On 15 February 1862 Thomas enlisted in CSA Company D, 27th Arkansas Infantry (Shaler's) Regiment. On 31 July 1862 he transferred to the 1st Regiment, McBride's Brigade, Arkansas Infantry at the age of 26. By 7 February 1863 he had died of disease at Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas while serving in the military. In 1880 Matilda and her daughters were living with Ann McCallester, Thomas' mother.

6. NATHANIEL W. "NATE" TYLER [2150] was born 03 Oct 1839 in Henderson County, Tennessee. His primary trade was hunting. He married MANERVA COOK. She was born Nov 1843 in Missouri.  Nathaniel died suddenly while hauling coal to the wild cat mines on Jimmies Creek on 04 June 1898 in Marion County, Arkansas. He is buried in Arch Anderson Graveyard, near Dodd City, Marion County, Arkansas.
