2. John Henry Brotherton [24913] was born 15 March 1868 in Morgan County, Tennessee, and died 13 September 1953 in Algood, Putman County, Tennessee. He married Lavina Catherine Copeland on 5 February 1899 in Hilham, Overton County, Tennessee, daughter of J. Copeland and Jane Maxwell. She was born 19 July 1879 in Hilham, Overton County, Tennessee, and died 03 December 1950 in Algood, Putman County, Tennessee.

  1. Dewey Homer Brotherton, born 25 July 1903 in St. Jo, Montague County, Texas; died 30 September 1984 in Algood, Putman County, Tennessee. He married Bertha M. Phy 22 December 1922; born 30 April 1905; died 02 December 1994 in Algood, Putman County, Tennessee. Dewey is buried in Phillips Cemetery, Overton County, Tennessee.
  2. Ada Brotherton, born 31 January 1904; died in a fire.
  3. Beatrice Zula Brotherton, born 13 July 1910 in Hilham, Overton County, Tennessee; died May 2002. She married Andy Carson Pharris 30 July 1933; born 21 January 1909; died 05 December 1992 in Crossville, Cumberland County, Tennessee. Andy is buried in Brotherton Cemetery, Greene County(?), Tennessee.
  4. Willette Ceatrice Brotherton, born 27 September 1915; died 15 June 1990 in Bristol, Sullivan County, Tennessee. She married Ray E. Boatman 22 June 1937.

3. Osa B. Brotherton [24856] was born 22 February 1870 in Clay County, Tennessee, and died 26 August 1939. She married Rev. Charles Sheridan Galloway 23 July 1889 in Morgan County, Tennessee, son of Edley Galloway and Lousiana Byrd. He was born 16 April 1866, and died 30 January 1962. Osa and Charles are buried in Union Grove Cemetery, Morgan County, Tennessee.

  1. Flonnie Galloway, born 26 June 1891 in Sunbright, Morgan County, Tennessee; died 04 January 1913. She married Cecil Sexton.

5. Rev. Albert Benton Brotherton [24853] was born 1875 in Cookeville, Putman County, Tennessee, and died 1938. He married Nancy Anna E. Owens on 14 January 1896 in Scott County, Tennessee, daughter of Boston Owens and Martha [last name unknown]. She was born 09 February 1880, and died 11 June 1928.   4. Nellie Lois Brotherton, born 19 April 1913 in Saxton, Whitely County, Kentucky; died 14 February 1987 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. She married Floyd Lee Seiber 26 December 1925 in Tennessee; born 19 October 1909 in Clinton, Anderson County, Tennessee; died 19 April 1985 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. Nellie and Floyd are buried in Baltimore Pike Cemetery, Hamilton County, Ohio.
  5. James Brotherton, born 02 August 1914; died 15 November 1959 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. He married Alma Thomas; born 07 April 1915; died 29 May 1959 in La Follette, Campbell County, Tennessee. Almoa is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Campbell County, Tennessee.

6. Ova Ann Brotherton [24849] was born 18 June 1879, and died December 1955. She married William Alonzo Pittman on 9 July 1896 in Morgan County, Tennessee, son of Reason Pittman and Elmira Lawson. He was born 23 June 1875, and died 23 March 1959. Ova and William are buried in Union Grove Cemetery, Morgan County, Tennessee.
