2. James Hall Pattillo [13903] was born 10 March 1821 in Louisiana, and died 6 January 1867 in Orange County, Texas. He married Hester Ann Frances Harmon on 20 July 1842 in Jefferson County, Texas, daughter of John Harmon and Elizabeth Clark. She was born about 1828 in Louisiana, and died 1865 in Orange County, Texas. In 1852 he was elected to the first Commissioner's Court of Orange County, Texas. James served as the Postmaster for Henderson County, Texas. Hester was was buried in Singleton Cemetery, Orange County, Texas.

Children of James Pattillo and Hester Harmon are:

  1. Rachel Pattillo, born 14 September 1843, Orange County, Texas; died 15 June 1909, Orange County, Texas; married Robert Charles Myers, 3 August 1858, Orange County, Texas; born 7 March 1836, Orange County, Texas; died 1 March 1903, Orange County, Texas.
  2. + Daniel A. Pattillo, born about September 1846, Texas; died 20 February 1905; buried in Singleton Cemetery, Orange County, Texas.

5. Leroy Pattillo [14131] was born about 1826 in Louisiana. He married Minerva Ann Lewis on 19 December 1850 in Jasper County, Texas, daughter of M. Lewis and Luanna Taylor. She was born 7 April 1834 in Texas, and died 1886. Leroy served the confederacy during the US civil war enlisting as a Private in Company E of the 11th Texas Battallion (Spaight's).

7. Daniel Allen Pattillo [14133] was born 16 November 1830 in Texas, and died 26 February 1902. Daniel was a farmer. He married Sarah Ann Adcock, daughter of John D. Adcock and Elizabeth Pitman, on 14 September 1857 in Orange County, Texas. She was born 20 September 1840 in Monroe County, Alabama, and died 24 December 1901. Daniel served the CSA during the Civil War in Company E of the 11th Texas Infantry and Cavalry Battalion, Volunteers as a Private. Daniel's brother Samuel lived with them in 1860. Daniel and Sarah are buried in Pine Island Cemetery, Orange County, Texas.
