1. Ethel Lillian Farmer
[15848] was born 25 September 1903 in Clarksville, Johnson
County, Arkansas, and died of congestive heart failure on 20 October 1991 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married
Rutherford Buchard Hays, son of Wentworth Hayes and Catherine Rehm. He was born
3 September 1902 or 1905 in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas, and died
of pneumonia. on 3 February
1991 in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. He had severe stroke on 6 January 1990 at home and went to Tulsa for
rehabilitation. He could not walk or talk was partially paralyzed on right side.
He stayed in the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Tulsa for approximately 8
months. Ethel was a long time member of the Russellville Home Demonstration
Club, serving as president several time. On 6 January 1991 Rutherford
suffered a severe stroke that left him paralyzed on the right side and unable to
speak. They are both buried in Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas.
