He was a groceryman. Permellia is buried in Oark Cemetery, Johnson County, Arkansas. Nathaniel's obituary was published on 15 June 1961, in the Graphic, Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas. He is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas.
