Last Will and Testament of W. T. Evans
Know all men by these presents that I, W. T. Evans, of the town of
Clarksville in the County of Johnson and in the State of Arkansas being in ill
health but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this, my
last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time
heretofore made.
1st I hereby constitute and affirm my wife Amanda Evans to be the
sole executrix of my last will , directing my said executrix to pay all my just
debts and funeral expenses and the legacies herein after given out of my estate.
2nd It is my will that my two sons, Daniel J. Evans and Joseph Evans
have and take nothing belonging to my estate.
3rd It is my will that my executrix at my death, shall have an
appraisement of all my personal property, by three disinterested persons, and
that it is my will that my executrix have all my property, both personal and
real, and I do hereby will and bequeath the same to her as long as she shall
remain unmarried and my widow; and at her death I will to my step-daughter, Lula
Ball, all the personal property or its value thereof, which my executrix may
have received through me, and and the profits of all the real after the death of
my executrix. I will and bequeath equally to my three daughters, Mary Ann
Morgan, Amelia Brunt, and Gwennie Krause, until they are all dead, and then the
remainder of my real estate I will and bequeath equally to Allie Kraus, Willis
Morgan and the oldest son of Amelia Brunt - if one - and if not, then to
Allie Kraus and Willis Morgan, my grandsons.
It is my will and request that William Ball, my step-son, have nothing to do
with any of my property and that he stay off my premises.
In testimony thereof I hereto set my hand and publish and
declare this to be my lat will and testament in the presence of these witnesses
named below, this 29th day of September 1890.

Signed, published, and declared by the said W. T. Evans as and
for his last will and testament in presence of us who, in his presence and in
the presence of each other, and at his request, have subscribed our names as
witnesses hereto.

In the Johnson Probate Court January Term 1893.
Personal appearance in open Court on the 31st day of January 1893 J. L. Nelson
who first being duly sworn says: That he and R. C. Reding who is now deceased,
are the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing purporting
to be the Last Will and Testament - Wm. T. Evans, deceased.
That said instrument was executed at Clarksville, Johnson
County, Arkansas, by said Wm. T. Evans, named therein about the date named
therein to wit the 29th day of September 1890.
That the said Wm. T. Evans the testator was at the time of
signing said instrument upwards of twenty-one years of age, and of sound and
disposing mind and memory, and that in the presence of both R. C. Reding, Dec'd
and myself he declared it to be his Last Will and Testament, and subscribed his
name thereto in the presence of both R. C. Reding and myself. That at the
request of said Testator myself and R. C. Reding wrote our names to his said
Will in his presence as witnesses and in the presence of each other. That the
subscriptions to the foregoing instrument of writing are genuine and that said
instrument hereto attached is the identical one that myself and R. C. Reding so
witnessed and saw the said Wm. T. Evans sign.
