Roane County
Be it remembered that on this the 19th day of October 1846 personally
appeared before me Austin L. Grimes clerk of the county court of the County of
Roane aforesaid, William C. McKamy one of the Executors of the estate of William
C. McKamy deceased who was administrator of the of the estate of Cornelius and
Barbara Acord deceased and made settlement of the administration of his Testator
on said Estate as follows towit: the settlement made with William C. McKamy
deceased on the 3rd day of September 1842 it appears that said McKamy was
chargeable with the following notes and cash not accounted for in said
settlement to wit:
One note on Reuben Lewis due 15th Dec 1835 $57.00
One note on William Rector C.H. Rector and John Kindrick due 1st April 1840
$30.00
and cash on hand not accounted for $204.59
And said Executor reports that his Testator is chargeable the following sum
collected on the above notes (viz):
This sum collected on Reuben Lewis note 26 September 1842 $34.02
This sum collected on the note due from William Rector, C.H. Rector & John
Kindrick $25.00
The sum collected being the amount of the note & interest on John Smith
& A. Gibbin $19.23
Total amount which said Testator is chargeable $282.84.
Also the sum in the hand of Josiah J. Bacon being the balance of the note
which he collected off of Wm. Rector, C.H. Rector & John Kindrick besides
interest $5.00
Total amount $287.84

The document goes on to state "...there being nine legetees will to each
Heir this some $31.70-1/2 ...Sums paid to Reuben Lewis, Elizabeth Shull, Joseph
Akerd, John Akerd, Cornelius Akerd, David Akerd garnished to S. Wilkey ... there
being no other vouchers against any more of the legettes the amount is thus paid
to Catherine Acerd $31.70-1/2, to Jonas Acerd $31.70-1/2, & to heirs of
Christianah Allen $31.70-1/2."
