Directions: The cemetery is located about 11 or 12 miles from the Johnson County Courthouse. Take Highway 103 north to 164 West (Horsehead Lake Road). Go about 1 mile; then turn left on County Road 28. Go about 2 miles to the cemetery. The church and cemetery are on the left.

Notes: This was originally called the Arnold Cemetery. The land was set aside as a family graveyard by the Arnold family, whose son was said to be the first person buried there, although he has no marker. The small church/school building was on the original Bethlehem Church site about a to the south, on the creek. That land was deeded to a group of men acting as trustees for a new Methodist Church in the late 1850's. Around 1900 the building was moved to the current and at some point the name of the cemetery changed. Decoration day is the first Saturday in May beginning at 2 p.m. There are 120 unmarked graves in this cemetery. There are 103 burials listed here. This is not a complete inventory of this cemetery.
