We have found no evidence thus far. Her parents (Christopher and Mira Rafferty) were born in Tennessee and she was born in Arkansas. Her nephew, Sisroe "Roe" Rafferty, son of Thomas F. Rafferty, married Caldonia Jones who appears in the Dawes Final Roll 1819-1914 as 1/16 Cherokee. This would seem to indicate that, as far as she knew, her husband was 100% white. Another possible Indian connection is Albert P. and Rachel M. and their daughter Mary E. Goforth who also appear in the Dawes Final Roll. If you have any information about other Indian blood in this family, please send email. Allied Family Lines
